07:46 am	Agronic	oh nice, so far a group of 5 players started on V-rising already. Runebane, 4 other random friends and I. All having our own bases but it still being pretty nice to just have our lives in the same world.

Yesterday 09:50 am	Agronic	well I went on the official server 1130, which has the new harder difficulty. Fights are pretty tough but still properly doable even solo. Did 3 bosses, found a base location and made some crafting stations. Good enough for now.

Yesterday 07:55 am	Agronic	They have a bunch of caves u can travel though, why do we need to be spoiled so much? With a fast horse and caves it's super fast either way
Yesterday 07:40 am	Agronic	But yeah, with harder fights it's even more important to properly time some of the bossfights. Don't want to fight them during daytime.
Yesterday 07:39 am	Agronic	Still better than the nights in ARK or similar games, that are mostly there to make things insanely hard to see unless you throw the gamma up to high levels.
Yesterday 03:07 am	Agronic	So yeah I'll start on a hard server for sure, it would be amusing if you'd join me but not counting on it due to what you said earlier. I'll at least link the server information here once I've found one. Servers should be up in 4-5 hours or so.
Yesterday 02:59 am	Agronic	oh nice, there really seem to be a lot of positive changes to V-rising when it comes to combat, progression etc. There are also servers with different difficulties now ( easy, medium, hard basically ). Fun enough hard sounds the most interesting by far, because while the fights will be harder ( just a nice thing to work towards with the new progression stuff ) there is also more loot AND your durability goes down slower. So it's the best of all worlds honestly, nicer fights and less annoyances.

May 7, 2024	Agronic	There are also some mods that fuse a lot of modern pokemon. But those are violet/scarlet mods. Which is 100 times better than playing gen 1 crap world again at least.

Apr 28, 2024	Agronic	Ive also watched some fusion videos from a modded version of the latest game ( violet/scarlet ) instead of just playing through the first game again. They had some pretty epic animations for fusions.

Apr 28, 2024	Agronic	you can select a starting team from pokemon you caught in previous runs, but depending on how strong the poke is they cost more points to use in your starter team. You get up to 10 points to use. For example the typical starter pokemon cost 3 each so you'd be able to bring starters of every element and then some weak crap for 1 point to fill it up if you want. Can't stack multiple of the same to start with ( though you can catch them during your run )

No walking around nonsense, just constant battles, progression and if you are game-over then the pokemon you caught on the previous runs can now be picked as starter pokemon. Interesting mechanics saw some youtubers play it, it's amusing.

Apr 23, 2024	Agronic	I might start looking at game-modding in the near future. There are multipe games that allow modding via C# ( the language I write in ). It could end up being interesting to have my own mods instead of being sad that nice mods are no longer properly updated.

Thought it would be a fairly straightfoward/small project but already at over 800 lines of code, divided over 4 classes, a xaml ( frontend stuff ) and the MainPage that is linked to the xaml. And the project is only about halfway done. I remember when I was cheering that I could write my first line of code that showed anything on the screen.

Not expecting you to jump into it but I'll just go kill some bosses on there whenever I have the urge to kill things. Deep Rock Galactic is probably a fairly good coop game for now, with how missions/progress works there.

Apr 18, 2024	Agronic	as an example, iron was fairly hard to get initially on palworld. After I found a location with 6 iron spawns near each other I just placed a 2nd base there as my gather base. And I never had iron problems again since my slaves just kept gathering more iron than I needed.

Apr 18, 2024	Agronic	I like the idea of having a base, going out gathering to place it in the base to get better items, new spells etc. I don't like being forced to do loads of building, gather loads of annoying to get materials etc just to get to a higher tier of weapon however. Building for me should be an addition to fun, not a 2nd job before I can get to the actual fun.

Apr 18, 2024	Agronic	I am really considering just giving enshrouded a proper try soon, especially since it allows for proper melee, ranged and magic builds. In my case I'll most likely aim towards some sort of magic build that is either fire, darkness or lightning. ( if at all possible, I didn't do any research towards what spells are available only that there are mages )
